The 1920’s was a time of social and political change, particularly for women. It was a fascinating time and many women were creating and discovering things like the world had never seen before. Women were granted the right to vote, changed the way they dressed and were so motivated to progress on what was previously their norm. With Dress for Success, we see the growth in working women every day!
During World War 1, many women began to work to assist in filling the gaps of the men at war. When peacetime came, countless continued with their new professions consisting of factory and domestic work, nursing, teaching, clerical, secretarial, office typing and shop assisting.
